VANCOUVER, BC – Sierra Systems Group Inc., a leading information technology and consulting services company, has been chosen by the County of Los Angeles, California to develop the system requirements and request for proposal for a new property tax system, called eTax, that will increase accuracy and efficiency in managing and collecting property taxes.
Sierra Systems will conduct an analysis of the County's current property tax system and business processes, and working closely with the Auditor-Controller, Treasurer and Tax collector, and Assessment Appeals Board, will develop the desired business process and functional requirements for the eTax system. Upon completion of this analysis, Sierra Systems will develop a logical system architecture and implementation plan which will serve as the basis for the implementation of eTax. The project will conclude with the creation of the request for proposal and evaluation criteria that will be released by the County to solicit bids for the eTax implementation.
